About The Job
Type: Full-time/Permanent

Wage: $52,000 - $55,000

Shifts: 2 shifts: Monday-Friday: 6:30am - 3:30pm or 8am - 5pm

Summary
The Rental Sales Associate will be responsible for acting as the front line sales agent for the rental of vehicles to the Company's current lease and commercial rental accounts as well as potential commercial rental customers and consumer household needs. This requires the Rental Sales Representative to work cross functionally across Sales, Marketing, Operations and Asset Management while utilizing excellent customer communication skills.

Essential Functions

Facilitates the rental of vehicles to the Company's current lease and commercial rental accounts, as well as potential commercial rental customers and consumer household needs

Must work cross functionally across Sales, Marketing,



Operations and Asset Management while utilizing excellent customer communication skills

Handles sales and sales process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation

Is responsible for executing the business unit's marketing plan

Maintains current accurate data within the company's marketing database

Generates rental, lease and used vehicle sales leads

Maintains and expands relationships with existing customer base

Maximizes operational effectiveness by coordinating overall inventory levels to meet customer demand

Drives profitable revenue growth by maintaining and growing customer relationshipsIs responsible for overall satisfaction for all internal and external customers

Reconciles all customer concerns, issues, disputes to maintain ongoing relationship communication

Maintains composure when addressing stressful situations

Clearly articulates Ryder's product and service offerings

Additional Responsibilities

Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills And Abilities

Strong interpersonal, customer relations and problem solving skills and proven ability to effectively organize tasks and manage time

PC literacy

Valid driver's license

Comfort with driving large vehicles, including 28' straight trucks and tractors with standard transmission and hydraulic or airbrakes, within congested areas

Willingness to work shifts and weekends when required





Bilingual an asset

Qualifications

HS diploma, required

Bachelor's degree in business, sales or marketing (asset), preferred

Two (2) years or more in marketing or sales required

Compensation Information
The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Pay Rate Type: Salaried

Minimum Pay Range: 52K

Maximum Pay Range: 55K
