Lagoon Seafood is growing, and we’re looking for an entrepreneurial, results-driven Foodservice Sales Manager to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area.
Since 1992, Lagoon Seafood has grown from a family business into a leading Canadian seafood company specializing in the processing, distribution, import and export of fresh, frozen and value-added seafood products. Headquartered in Montreal, we work with major customers across Canada and source seafood from around the world. As we continue to grow our foodservice business and expand into new markets, we’re looking for someone who wants to play a key role in that growth.
The Opportunity The Foodservice Sales Manager is a high-impact, entrepreneurial sales role focused on both winning new business and growing strategic customer relationships.
You will be responsible for:
Developing new business with foodservice distributors, national chains and strategic accounts
Growing sales, volume and profitability across existing customers
Building and executing strategic customer growth plans
Managing the sales pipeline, forecasts, pricing and budgets
Leading customer presentations, business reviews, RFPs and negotiations
Identifying opportunities for new products, listings and custom product development
Working closely with Purchasing, Operations, Marketing, Logistics and Finance
Representing Lagoon at trade shows and industry events




What We’re Looking For 3+ years of foodservice sales experience, preferably with national or strategic accounts
Proven track record of winning new business and delivering profitable growth
Solid understanding of the Canadian foodservice landscape
Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills
Strong commercial, financial and analytical acumen
Entrepreneurial mindset with a high degree of initiative and ownership
Experience in seafood, meat, food manufacturing, distribution or agri-food is a strong asset
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Bilingual English/French is an asset
A genuine passion for seafood and food!
The Details Location: GTA | Hybrid
Type: Full-time
Travel: Customer meetings, industry events and approximately monthly travel to our Montreal head office
Salary: $70,000–$95,000 CAD + performance-based bonus eligibility
