In this pivotal position reporting to the Director of Data Engineering, you'll oversee the governance and long-term viability of integrations among commercial enterprise applications. Your responsibilities will include hands-on software development using Python and Java, focusing on building and sustaining automated processes with AWS, Airflow, and Snowflake, while ensuring best practices in security and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own the architecture of integrations between enterprise systems
• Define principles for APIs and event-driven solutions
• Lead reviews of vendor designs for security and quality
• Maintain system interaction diagrams and documentation
• Ensure effective monitoring and error handling practices
Requirements:
• 10+ years in systems integration or architecture
• Proficiency in AWS, Airflow, Python, and Java
• Strong knowledge of integration operations and security
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with Snowflake and data warehousing preferred
