This 4 to 8-month position supports the Cost, Capital & Shared Services team. It emphasizes month-end and quarter-end financial closes, internal controls, and project accounting. You will work with crucial tools like D365 Finance & Operations and develop practical skills in US GAAP accounting, all while contributing to valuable priority projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare journal entries for month-end and quarter-end closes
• Maintain project subledger and fixed asset records
• Assist with SOX/ICFR control testing and audit requests




• Enhance team processes and contribute to improvement initiatives
• Present outcomes of your projects at the term's conclusion
Requirements:
• Enrolled in Accounting, Finance, or Business program
• Robust proficiency in Excel and ERP systems like D365
• Detail-oriented with excellent written communication
• Ability to manage deadlines during financial closes
• Provide transcripts upon application
