Job Description:

THE ROLE:

Our client is seeking a Functional Business Analyst to support a critical NetSuite implementation during a key phase of the project lifecycle. Working closely with Finance, IT, and external implementation partners, you will help drive project execution, improve stakeholder communication, and ensure finance requirements are understood and incorporated as the organization prepares for go-live and subsequent optimization activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the primary liaison between Finance, IT, and implementation partners to facilitate effective communication and issue resolution
- Support project planning, coordination, and execution to help keep deliverables on track
- Provide a finance-focused perspective throughout the implementation process and identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Assist with user acceptance testing activities and help guide teams through final stages of implementation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to document and enhance current-state and future-state business processes
- Support the development and refinement of financial reports and reporting requirements
- Help drive project completion while ensuring business objectives and finance needs are met
- Contribute to post-implementation optimization initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

Requirements:

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

- Accounting background required
- CPA designation strongly preferred
- Proven ERP implementation experience
- Hands-on NetSuite experience
- Solid understanding of finance processes, controls, and reporting requirements
- Experience supporting user acceptance testing and business process improvements
- Ability to bridge communication between business and technical teams
- Project coordination or project management experience
- Excellent documentation and process mapping skills
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities
- Calm, adaptable, and highly collaborative working style
