as well as OH&S; standardsRead and interpret blue prints to determine requirements of the jobJoin or sever metals in beams, vessels, piping, and other metal componentsUtilize different processes and fillers depending on the Client requirementsClean and check weld for defectsAttend required safety and tailgate/toolbox meetingsMay perform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSMust be an Alberta registered apprentice or hold an apprenticeship or journeyman certificate recognized by AITCSO requiredAble to work well in a team environmentMust be physically able to lift 50lbs and climb in/under units in the fieldOrganized and self-motivatedPre-employment alcohol and drug testing is a condition of employment.
