The City of Humboldt is looking for a motivated Casual Custodian within the Community & Leisure Services Department. You'll be responsible for keeping facilities like the Humboldt Uniplex, Library, and City Hall in excellent shape, ensuring safety and comfort for the public and staff. Your evening and weekend availability is crucial to meet operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain floors by sweeping, vacuuming, and waxing
• Clean and sanitize washrooms thoroughly
• Support event setups by arranging equipment
• Inspect and replenish essential supplies regularly
• Ensure safe and clean facility entrances
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 education
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• WHMIS and Fire Extinguisher training
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Custodian training and experience preferred
