In this role within Quinte 5, a 54-bed acute medicine unit, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals including RNs, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. Your responsibilities will focus on patient assessment, education, and treatment, ensuring everything aligns with the College of Nurses standards. This position is designed for dedicated nurses aiming to enhance both their skills and patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide patient care and assessment in a team setting
• Maintain nursing records per qualified standards




• Teach and coach patients and families as needed
• Participate in unit quality improvement initiatives
• Adhere to health and safety policies
Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• CPR, BLS, or BCLS certification required
• Completion of Coronary Care 1 or obtain within 6 months
• Physically capable of handling demanding workload
• Satisfactory Criminal Record / Vulnerable Sector Check
