The Summer Student will assist the Location Manager and a diverse team at a Paterson Grain facility. Key tasks include participating in facility operations, maintaining safety protocols, and engaging in customer service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for students pursuing degrees in Ag Business or Agronomy, providing exposure to real-world practices in grain handling and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with fertilizer and crop protection product operations
• Maintain accurate inventory data and record loadouts
• Organize the chem shed for better visibility
• Support Logistics Coordinator with farm deliveries
• Conduct field scouting activities and enter data
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Ag Business or Agronomy
• Solid organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Agricultural background appreciated
