We offer competitive wages as well as a comprehensive benefit package after the completion of the probationary period.Position requirements:Key Responsibilities:Complete set up sheets; documenting current productrequirements for approvalSet up the machines properly and ensure that they are working at full capacityDetermine and then run the appropriate program for each job; make adjustments as needed to ensure quality product.Load and unload the machines with the required productsCheck and measure partsChange the inserts when requiredOperate all equipment, including in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies, and proceduresGeneral clean up of working area to help maintain a safe working environmentEducation & Experience:Skills and AbilitiesHigh school diploma or equivalentRed seal certification or working towards certification requiredMust have Vertical Boring Mill & Turning experienceExperience in programming CNC machinesMinimum 3 years of experience in a heavy metal manufacturing environmentExperience in precision machining with tight tolerancesExperience using an overhead crane an asset
