Levert is seeking a highly skilled and safety-minded Environmental Specialist to join our team with Canada’s Largest Gold Mine. The ideal candidate will manage environmental compliance across our sub-watersheds, spearhead spill incident investigations, guide less experienced team members, and ensure site operations strictly adhere to environmental permits and regulations.

This is a camp rotational position.

Payrate: $40 per hour. 14 days on/14 days off rotations, 12 hour shifts

We are seeking candidates that have the following knowledge and experience;

Sampling and Sampling Support

- Analyze water chemistry, communicate with external labs, making sure sample samples are analyzed on time, any additional sample supplies are being shipped on time and troubleshoot any QA/QC issues that arise.




- Compare environmental data against permit criteria advising of any issues and present regular reports to the Environmental Department.
- Air Quality Monitoring – Assist in sample collection, as required.
- Noise Monitoring – Communicate with consultants regarding noise monitoring
- Stream Gauging and groundwater monitoring– Assist in data collection as required.
- Compliance Sampling - Assist environmental compliance sampling, as required.
- Prioritize field work regularly to stay updated with site and sampling protocols.
