You will ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing while maintaining optimal inventory levels and building strong supplier relationships.P rocure and place orders for goods, materials, and services in a timely and cost-effective mannerResearch and evaluate suppliers to identify optimal sourcing options aligned with budget objectivesCoordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods and servicesPrepare and administer RFQs, RFPs, bids, and related procurement documentsMonitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels across the organizationManage contracts, service agreements, scopes of work, and supplier termsCoordinate shipping logistics and delivery schedulesVerify and reconcile vendor invoices against purchase orders and agreed pricingMonitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply risks impacting procurement strategyCommunicate lead times and supply constraints to internal stakeholdersResolve vendor discrepancies, billing issues, and delivery concernsSupport mitigation planning for shortages, delays, or supply chain disruptionsNegotiate returns, credits, and replacements with suppliersCollaborate on bulk purchasing opportunities to achieve cost savingsMaintain supplier relationships and ensure consistent vendor performancePerform all duties in accordance with company policies and procurement practicesQUALIFICATIONSEducation & ExperiencePost-secondary education in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field3-5 years of experience in a buyer or procurement role,
