Engage with Newcomer youth as a Part time Casual Youth Worker, assisting in event planning and employability skills. Flexibility is key with shifts available during evenings and weekends.This part-time position offers 10-20 hours per week, focusing on developing employability skills through community engagement and project planning. You will assist participants in creating five community projects aimed at attracting 75-100 attendees each, support their academic planning, and encourage their participation in workshops.Key Responsibilities:Recruit and register Newcomer youth for the programOffer one-on-one support and coaching to participantsDevelop and facilitate engaging workshopsGuide youth in creating community-focused projects/eventsBuild relationships with community partners and stakeholdersRequirements:Education in business, education, or related fieldsEvent planning experience in-person or virtuallyExperience managing volunteers in high-pressure projectsProven ability to work with youthComfortable using tech tools like MS Office and ZoomSupport youth in their journey to develop vital skills and facilitate their projects.
