As a Snowplow and Heavy Equipment Operator Crew Lead at CSL, you will lead a team of snow removal professionals while operating snowplows and other heavy equipment. You will play a key role in keeping our communities secure and accessible throughout the winter season.If you enjoy working outdoors, aren't afraid of a little cold, and don't mind hard work, this is the position for you! You Should Have the FollowingG2 license and clean driver's abstract requiredExperience operating a snowplow and/or heavy equipmentReliable transportation to and from job sites (we are not accessible by public transit)Open availability for on-call work (snow likes to fall at night - hours may be very late or very early)Ability and willingness to work long hours during peak daysAccess to a mobile phone for communicationAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMotivation, dedication, and a focus on safety and efficiencyPhysically fit - able to lift 50 lbs or moreCompensation$25-$30/hour, based on experience and reliabilityGuaranteed Pay Options* during the snow seasonPaid bi-weeklyOpportunity for full-time, year-round employment if desired at the end of the contractHiring is ongoing and positions will be filled as required.
