Lead youth programs as a Summer Camp Coordinator for the Town of Oakville. Engage with children, supervise staff, and ensure fun-filled camp experiences this summer.
This part time role involves overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of various camp programs. You will report to the Recreation/Culture Coordinator while providing guidance to Senior Leaders and Playleaders. The successful candidate should be a full-time student and available during July and August 2027 to support our community with vibrant camp initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and supervise daily camp activities and staff
• Train and evaluate the performance of camp leaders
• Adhere to health and safety regulations throughout programs




• Conduct mandatory staff functions from May to September
• Maintain registration details for participants seamlessly
Requirements:
• Current Intermediate First Aid with CPR C certification
• Enrollment confirmation as a full-time student
• HIGH FIVE certification or willingness to obtain
• Demonstrated leadership with children and youth
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
