Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for providing automotive problem resolution including identification, trouble shooting and project assistance for DIY and Professional customers. The role has the ability to source from numerous places including special order, FDO, second source, etc. Must be able to work assorted shifts Monday to Friday 8:00-5:30 and Saturday 8:00- 4:00 as per schedule. Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide a positive selling experience for all DIY and Professional customers including walk-in, on-line orders and phoneAchieve personal / store sales goals and service objectivesEnsure high standards of customer service and store appearance standardsKey holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)SecondaryResponsibilitiesAssist in store inventory processes including POGs, truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.Back Up to Professional servicesStore Cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting etc. Success FactorsAutomotive knowledge and or interest in the Automotive aftermarketFriendly communicationAbility to locate and stock partsSafety knowledge and skillsOperating inventory systems and store equipmentOperating POS and Parts lookup systemsAdvanced parts lookup and sourcingEssential Job Skills Necessary for Success as a Retail Parts ProWorking knowledge of automotive systems, and diagnostic ability to include: internal engine, suspension, brakes, electronic, exhaust, etc.Speak and write English; communicate effectivelyand build strong relationships with customers, peers and managementAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals; ability to write simplecorrespondenceUnderstand and execute instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formUse basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions,
