The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, excellent knowledge of local routes, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. Key Responsibilities Operate Z-class truck with lift gate for local pickups and deliveries Safely load, unload, and transport scrap metal and materials Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly Ensure proper securing of loads in compliance with safety regulations Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining efficiency Provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries Complete delivery logs, inspection reports,



and required documentation Adhere to company policies, MTO regulations, and safety standards Qualifications & Requirements Valid Z Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract Minimum 3 years of driving experience (preferred) Experience operating a lift gate truck is an asset Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs or more) Knowledge of GTA routes and traffic regulations Strong work ethic, reliability, and time management skills Basic mechanical knowledge is an asset Working Conditions Physically demanding role involving lifting, bending, and outdoor work Exposure to varying weather conditions Early start times and overtime may be required #J-18808-Ljbffr
