Ledcor is seeking Power Line Technicians in Brampton, Ontario. These skilled tradespeople will construct, install, and maintain overhead and underground powerlines, working at heights and operating specialized equipment. What You’ll Need
- Journeyman Powerline Technician certification or enrollment/interest in a lineman apprenticeship program
- 1–3 years of experience in powerline construction or strong interest with technical training
- Ability to climb poles using spikes and rigging and to work from bucket trucks or man-lifts
- Strong knowledge of distribution powerline construction methods, tools, and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Class 5 driver’s license required; Class 1 or 3 preferred
- Acceptable five (5) year Driver’s Abstract
- Physically able to work at heights, lift heavy materials, and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to travel extensively across Ontario
- Completion of a hearing screening (safety sensitive position)
