Huronia Transition Homes is seeking a full-time Vertical Cultivator for their creative social enterprise, Operation Grow. This role involves day-to-day farm operations, crop scheduling, and support for a low-barrier employment program aiming to uplift women who have faced violence. Strong organizational and management skills are essential for overseeing farm activities and ensuring equipment functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate the hydroponic farm and manage logistics
• Coordinate and schedule crop planting and harvesting
• Supervise shift leads and ensure SOP compliance




• Promote a clean and safe working environment
• Train and support Vertical Cultivators in their roles
Requirements:
• Relevant education or experience in food production
• Knowledge of food safety management processes
• Familiarity with indoor growing environments
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
