The wearable sensor enables real-time functional hemodynamic monitoring for patients requiring cardiopulmonary and fluid resuscitation.We are seeking a Production Technologist who will contribute to the commercialization of a current medical device and will mainly be responsible for meeting daily production targets by ensuring all parts are put together as instructed and inspecting the product at relevant stages of production.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Read and follow work instructions and bills of material to accurately assemble components into finished productsDocument part and equipment information onto assembly travelersTest device form, fit and function throughout production stages and record results according to batch or serial numbersAssist in preparing devices for packaging and shipping of product to customersNotify the quality team of any instances of non-conformance in a timely mannerAssist in inventory counts and notify the production lead when supplies are lowReceive materials and related documents and store them as per receiving protocolsAssist with engineering test batches as neededPerform work in accordance with quality standards and safety proceduresMaintain a safe, clean,



and organized workspacePerform facility maintenance activitiesPerform other duties as assignedSKILLS:Comfortable working in both physical and digital environmentsGood computer skills; experience with word processing and spreadsheet applications, and ability to learn an use various hardware/software toolsStrong attention to detail and proficiency in data entryAdaptability to changing processes in assembly and work environmentGood dexterity and mechanical aptitude including ability to use measurement tools and pneumatic equipment is preferredComfortable wearing PPE while performing repetitive tasksAbility to work with minimal supervision and have excellent time management skillsGood verbal and written communication skills in EnglishEDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Relevant post‐secondary education in Engineering/Science is preferredExperience working in an assembly role within a highly regulated industry (medical devices, aerospace, etc.) is idealCOMPENSATION:The hiring range for this role is $55,000–$65,000 CAD annually.
