Position Summary

Assists in the leadership of the Front End and departmentprocesses, respond to problems and inquiries, and develop associates throughteaching and training. Ensure a high level of customer service while ensuringtask completion.

Plans and executes department activities based on workload and operationalfunctions and assists on the salesfloor as required.

What You’ll Do

- Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a politeand friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services,locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issuesand referring concerns where appropriate.
- Ensures safe work processes and emergency procedures are followed ie. Safelifting techniques, cleanliness of area, evacuations, down registers,emergency codes, theft etc.
- Handles customer and associate concerns and provides guidance as required.
- Delegate, assist and follow up overall front-end operations, ensuring propercoverage, coordinating breaks.
- Review completed schedules with People Lead.
- Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to alidate andidentify training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching andtraining and provides feedback as needed.
- Ensure strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle atthe start of each shift, and provide the team with updates, set goals,



andtrack productivity. ie scanning accuracy, productivity, company programsand initiatives, discounts, credit card service, Walmart Protection Plan,charity events, etc.
- Contributes to a secure, clean and hazard free work environment throughadherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion ofsafety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure and free ofdebris.
- Complete GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management.
- Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management andgrowth conversations for Associates. Supports recruiting and hiring newassociates.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $19.15.
