In this full-time position, you will deliver compassionate care and create a safe environment for an elderly client. Your role involves assisting with daily living tasks, providing companionship, and promoting mental engagement. This candidate must be mature, trustworthy, and possess experience in caring for seniors with dementia and cognitive impairments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with all activities of daily living, including routines
• Provide compassionate care for an elderly dementia client
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs
• Ensure protected mobility assistance both indoors and outdoors
• Maintain a clean and organized living space
Requirements:
• 7 months to 1 year experience in caregiving
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Police background check requirement
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Completion of secondary school education
