You will collaborate with partners and clients to resolve property and casualty claims.Here is what a typical day looks likeSecuring telephone statements and details of damages from customers.Review and interpret policy wordings and parameters to determine if coverage is in-force and triggered by the lossManage claims settlement process with independent adjusters, providing recommendations and direction for negotiation and settlement within authority provided by insurersPerform in-house adjustment of claims within authority granted by provincial authorities and insurersSet and maintain accurate loss and expense reserves based upon investigation and/or recommendations, including validating independent adjusters' or insurers' reserve calculations and advising of discrepanciesPerform business interruption calculationsProvide feedback to Underwriters, Risk Management, and Brokerage teams on claims frequency and physical hazardsMaintain and action abeyance files and payment schedulesDraft and distribute correspondence to insureds, insurers, third party claimants,
