Our client is seeking a meticulous Industrial Process Analyst to join their operations team in Kimberley . This role is crucial for evaluating and improving industrial processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure quality standards. You will conduct detailed analyses of existing operations, identify areas for improvement, and work collaboratively with production teams to implement practical solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of industrial engineering principles and a keen eye for operational detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current industrial processes, workflows, and operational data to identify inefficiencies and areas for enhancement.
- Develop process maps, flowcharts, and other visual aids to clearly document existing and proposed processes.
- Recommend and implement process improvements using methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
- Measure and monitor the performance of implemented changes, collecting data and providing reports.
- Collaborate with plant managers, engineers, and operators to gain insights and ensure successful implementation of solutions.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs for process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
- 2-4 years of experience in process analysis, industrial engineering, or operations improvement.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma tools, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in process mapping software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for an on-site role in Kimberley .
