Lead Hand - Rental Valves - Grande PrairieJob Category : Skilled LabourRequisition Number : LEADH003796Posted : September 28, 2026Full-TimeOn-siteLocationsShowing 1 locationDescriptionStream-Flo Industries Ltd. is currently seeking a full-time, permanent Lead Hand – Rental Valves to work with our team at our Grande Prairie branch.Responsibilities:Provide effective leadership and communication to department employees with respect to building a solid commitment to customer service, while maintaining a positive and effective work environmentEnsure department activities operate in support of business goals and objectives for rental valve product and are compliant with Company policies and procedures.Oversee, train and mentor valve assembly/repair teams in all aspects of position ensuring efficient and quality workflowAssist department supervisor in coordinating the activities of the departmentLead as an example with production, mentoring and motivating team members, ensuring individual and group productivityCoordinate with AMS Quality Control for any items required to be farmed out.Assist in the creation of paperwork such as work orders, safety documents, etc.Responsible for repairing rental valve components and other rental equipment as required.Understand / write travelers and work orders for estimate to repairSupport and Trouble shoot issues within Rental Valve teamOpen and close responsibilities for the facility as required.Ensure the cleanliness of the facility to internal and external customers.Ensure compliance with Stream-Flo group Guiding Principles in terms of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental,



regulations or policiesPerform other duties as required or assigned by Supervisor/Manager..Qualifications:High School Diploma with 5 years of relevant experience with valves and oilfield industry preferredPrevious lead hand or supervisory experience an assetComprehensive knowledge of valve products including experience with valve repair, rebuild and/or teardown preferredAbility to effectively delegate work.Mechanically inclined; strong understanding ofhand and power tool functionalityKnowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP an asset.Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, leadership, customer service, and problem-solving skills.Work Conditions:Day shift: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, with ample overtime opportunities currently available.After-hours and on-call availability when required.Work is primarily performed indoors.Stream-Flo Industries Ltd. is a privately owned and operated Canadian manufacturer of wellhead, production gate valve and check valve equipment.
