Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)Location: Toronto, ON, CA, M8Z 1B8Employment Type: HourlyWork Designation: OnsiteShift: DaysPay: $45.90 CAD per hourPosition Summary:433A Millwright license required.Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, Millwright is responsible for ongoing maintenance, repair and performance of production equipment in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safety Standards, SOP's and Statistical Process Control (SPC) requirements.Major Duties and Responsibilities:Modify, repair, install, maintain, improve and troubleshoot various types of packing & process equipment in food manufacturingDiagnose mechanical problems and provide quick, innovative solutions for mechanical equipment breakdowns by applying proven skills in the principles of mechanics, fitting, plumbing, basic welding, metal work, machining, troubleshooting and analytical problem solvingConduct PM programs according to standardsResponsible for equipment changeover, set up, take down and relocation of all packaging equipmentPerform preventative maintenance and trouble shootingRecommend solutions to routine and unique equipment problemsResponse to equipment problems in a timely & customer-oriented mannerIntegrating all plant, quality, safety and security policies and guidelines into all day-to-day activities on the jobAll other work as assigned by duly authorized Supervisor or Team LeaderEducation and Experience:433A Millwright license required.5 years of Industrial Maintenance experience in a Food Manufacturing FacilityPrevious experience in both processing and packaging equipment such as homogenizers, process valves, pumps, heat exchangers, rotary fillers,
