Untold Studios is hiring a CFX Artist in Toronto to build scalable character-effects setups for stylized and photorealistic characters and creatures.
- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
- Contract and work arrangement: Full-time; hybrid in Toronto. Applicants are asked about their right to work and current base.
What you will do
- Create believable cloth, feather, hair and related character simulations for advertising, long-form and real-time projects.
- Build robust, procedural and team-friendly CFX setups.
- Troubleshoot shots and collaborate with artists across the character and VFX pipeline.
What the studio is looking for
- Skilled Houdini experience and proficiency with Vellum Solver.
- Strong independent troubleshooting and procedural setup skills; VEX is preferred.
- Muscle experience in Houdini 20.5 or 21 and experience supporting other artists are beneficial.
