This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing complex construction projects from pre-construction through completion while ensuring projects meet expectations for quality, schedule, safety, and financial performance. process improvements, and operational strategies that support continued growth and project successRequired Qualifications:Minimum of 7 years of progressive construction experience, with significant experience managing commercial construction projectsProven experience leading complex projects and providing oversight across multiple active construction sites or project teamsStrong understanding of commercial construction methods, sequencing, contracts, drawings, specifications, estimating, and project controlsDemonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, change orders, forecasting, procurement, and financial performanceStrong leadership skills with experience mentoring Project Managers, Superintendents, and other construction professionalsExcellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skillsAbility to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced construction environmentStrong working knowledge of construction management systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft OfficeValid Driver's Licence, clean driving abstract, and ability to travel to project sites as requiredBonus Points For:Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, Architectural Technology, or a related disciplinePMP designation, or other relevant construction/project management credentialsExperience with design-build commercial constructionExperience contributing to pre-construction, estimating, and business development activitiesEstablished knowledge of the Southern Alberta commercial construction marketRight People.
