In this vital role, you will report to the Manager of Facilities Operations and work closely with the leadhand. Your expertise in HVACR will be instrumental in maintaining the university's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will perform critical tasks related to preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations, ensuring efficiency across campus facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform regular maintenance on HVACR equipment and systems
• Install and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Conduct emergency eyewash and shower inspections
• Collaborate with external service providers
• Prepare estimates and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
• Valid Certificate of Apprenticeship in HVACR
• Gas Technician II Certificate
• Strong knowledge of HVACR systems
• Ability to read and work from blueprints
• Valid Class - G Ontario Driver’s license
