This is a Temporary positionThe City of Thompson is seeking an Equipment Operator I. The duties include receiving written or oral instructions, checking equipment for fuel, oil, water, coolants, and lubricants, and reporting any irregularities. The role involves operating equipment for snow removal and various material handling tasks related to the maintenance, construction, or operations of City of Thompson facilities. Additionally, the position involves directing and assisting helpers in street cleaning, sanding, steamer operations, and garbage disposal, as well as transporting personnel, materials, and equipment as required.Qualifications & SkillsGrade 12 or equivalentValid Class 1 Manitoba Driver's License with Air Brake EndorsementAbility to operate all equipment as per the job description,
