Advance your electrical expertise with Artemis Gold as a Journeyperson Electrician at the Blackwater Mine in British Columbia. This permanent role focuses on system maintenance and installation while operating on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off schedule.
Reporting to the Supervisor of Infrastructure, you will ensure safe and effective electrical operations within a mining workplace. Key skills needed include electrical systems knowledge, compliance with industry standards, and the ability to mentor apprentices. Your contribution will support maintenance, production, and engineering teams to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems
• Supervise routine checks and audits for compliance
• Provide technical guidance to site personnel on electrical installations
• Manage documentation and ensure critical spares are available
• Collaborate with teams to achieve common operational goals
Requirements:
• Red Seal Electrician Trade Certificate
• Understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code
• Experience supervising personnel, including apprentices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Valid driver’s license
