and disturbancesApply effective de-escalation techniques in challenging situationsCoordinate with emergency responders when requiredComplete accurate Daily Occurrence Reports and incident reportsMaintain skilled radio communicationsAssist with evacuations and emergency response proceduresCollaborate closely with building management and site stakeholdersQualifications for Downtown Commercial Security GuardBe authorized to work in CanadaValid Alberta Security Services LicencePrevious security experience is considered an assetUse of Force training is an asset; however, paid Use of Force training will be provided to successful candidates selected for this position.High level of verbal and written communication skillsExcellent customer service abilitiesProfessional appearance and demeanorStrong situational awareness and observational skillsAbility to confidently engage with the publicEffective conflict resolution and de-escalation skillsAvailable to work up to 12-hour shiftsAbility to work day or night rotationThis could be more than a job!
