Bigstone Pharmacy Ltd is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and dependable Pharmacy Assistant to join our talented Health Team for the Bigstone communities in which we serve in Wabasca, Calling Lake, and Chipewyan Lake. This is a rewarding opportunity if you have an appreciation for First Nation culture, a desire for continuing professional development and enjoy the support and collaboration from our multidisciplinary team and various other professionals and agencies.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform the technical component of dispensing including filling medication orders and filling prescriptionsRetrieving, counting pouring, weighing, measuring medication as directed by the PharmacistInvoicing prescription drug ordersProvide immediate service to customers at the prescription counterMaintain proper drug storage and securityPrepare, package and label prescription medicationsMaintain prescription and inventory record keeping systemsPlace and receive orders for stock to maintain inventoryAccept payment for prescriptionsMerchandisingOther duties as requiredKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMust be prepared to work irregular hoursGood organizational skills, make sound decisions and act quickly in critical circumstancesGood knowledge of office procedures,
