We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Live-In Building Maintenance Technician to support a residential community in the Waterloo region. This full-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, solving problems, working independently, and creating a positive experience for residents.As a key member of the property management team, you will be responsible for maintaining a protected, clean, and welcoming community while providing responsive support to residents and assisting with day-to-day building operations.ResponsibilitiesBuilding Maintenance & OperationsComplete routine building inspections and identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, deficiencies, and required repairsPerform general maintenance, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the propertyMaintain cleanliness of common areas, corridors, stairwells, elevators, and shared spacesPrepare suites for new residents, including inspections, minor repairs, turnover cleaning, and move-in readiness; assist with move-in andmove-out activitiesCoordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance projects and warranty itemsProvide support for resident access and security needs, including key replacements, lock changes, and lockoutsMaintain building logs, maintenance records, and inventory of suppliesSupport seasonal maintenance, including salting walkways and minor snow removalAssist with garbage and recycling operations, including moving bins as requiredResident Relations/AdmirationServe as a welcoming and approachable point of contact for residentsRespond to resident concerns and maintenance requests in a timely and professional mannerBuild positive relationships with residents and provide a high level of customer serviceSupport residents with questions and day-to-day needs,



providing a helpful and solution-oriented approachAssist with showing suites to prospective residents when requiredSupport move-in and move-out processes to ensure a positive resident experienceCollect and record incoming rentsProficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, tenant tracking, and/or reporting system (e.G.
