SCHOOL CARETAKEREdmonton, North LondonSalary: £28,(Apply online only)-£32,(Apply online only) per annum, depending on experienceHours: Full-time, Monday-FridayStart Date: ASAP / To be agreedWe are looking for a reliable, practical and hardworking School Caretaker to join our friendly school community in Edmonton, North London.The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring our school site is safe, secure, clean, well-maintained and welcoming for pupils, staff and visitors.Key ResponsibilitiesOpening and securing the school premises each dayCarrying out daily checks of the school buildings, grounds and facilitiesUndertaking general maintenance, repairs and basic DIYEnsuring the school site is safe, clean and well presentedResponding promptly to maintenance issues and emergenciesMonitoring heating, lighting, water and other building servicesMaintaining school grounds, including basic gardening and outdoor upkeepSetting up and moving furniture and equipment when requiredLiaising with contractors and supervising external maintenance workSupporting the school with health and safety checksMaintaining appropriate records of inspections and repairsReporting any hazards,
