## Cylinder Plant OperatorApply: Edmonton, AB - 118 Ave. - PG logistics - P&D;: Full time: Posted Today: R ## How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?Re-Test EdmontonRe-Test Edmonton - Cylinder Plant Operator will be responsible for the handling and movement of cylinders of Medical, Industrial and Speciality Gases all sizes, make them ready and supply to the customers at the right time and quality **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**● Ensures cylinders maintenance: Removes old labels. Removes / Installs and maintenance ofcylinder valves.Prepares cylinders for shot blasting by scraping of decals. Inspects cylinders thathave been shot blasted and segregates damaged cylinders for repair or scrap.● Paints cylinders and applies decals and markings. Cleans and maintains spray guns and otherequipment in good working order. Initialization of cylinders in Servitrax system (ALC traceabilitysystem). Maintains a clean work area as well as any other area which may be assigned. Usesfiber optic light to inspect the interior of the cylinder when required. Safely purge residual gasfrom cylinders when required.● Quality / Safety: Understands and implements required procedures (Standard OperatingInstructions) as established in the relevant Quality Manual. Verifies equipment for accuracy with acalibrated cylinder. Actively promotes ALC safety and quality objectives. Make sure theappropriate corrective and preventive measures are in place in order to answer customercomplaints.● Prepares reports: Finds information in the technical reference manual and prepares productionreports on the number of cylinders tested, painted, the number of valves repaired, the number ofcylinders blasted and the number of defects. Provides this information to the PlantManager/Supervisor.
