Our client is seeking a Solution Architect to own end-to-end solution design across a portfolio of enterprise applications using modern solution design. This is a six month contract to start. 100% in office downtown Calgary required About the Role

We are looking for a Solution Architect to own end-to-end solution design across a portfolio of enterprise application initiatives, including SaaS solutions and business applications. Working with business stakeholders and project teams, you will translate business requirements into practical, implementable solutions, evaluating application capabilities, integrations and options to enhance, replace or introduce systems. This role requires a hands-on architectural approach, from assessing solution options and developing detailed designs through to supporting implementation. You will also bring a forward-looking perspective on modern solution design, including how AI and agentic capabilities may create new opportunities for enterprise applications. Must-Haves

Experience as a

Solution Architect , owning

end-to-end solution design

from requirements through to implementation. Experience evaluating

enterprise applications , including options to enhance, integrate, modernize or replace existing solutions. Experience designing

application integrations

and

data flows

across enterprise applications or SaaS platforms. Ability to develop detailed,

implementable solution architecture designs

that guide project teams

through delivery . Experience working directly with

project teams and technical specialists

to resolve design issues and support implementation. Strong

stakeholder communication

skills, including explaining solution options, design decisions, trade-offs and risks to business and technical audiences. Exposure to AI-enabled solutions or agentic AI, including evaluating how these capabilities could be incorporated into application solutions and business processes. Nice-to-Haves

Experience with Enablon or similar solutions, Experience with enterprise SaaS applications such as Ivalua, SuccessFactors or similar platforms. What You Will Do





Own end-to-end solution design across multiple enterprise application projects and initiatives. Work with business stakeholders and project teams to understand requirements, business needs and technical constraints. Evaluate solution options, including enhancing existing applications, integrating systems or recommending replacement solutions. Develop detailed solution designs covering application components, integrations, data flows, dependencies and relevant security considerations. Document architecture decisions, design trade-offs and risks to provide clear direction for delivery teams. Work directly with project teams, vendors and technical specialists to resolve design questions and address implementation challenges. Stay engaged through implementation to ensure the delivered solution aligns with the agreed design and business requirements. Identify opportunities to apply modern architecture approaches and emerging technologies, including AI and agentic capabilities, where they provide practical business value.
