The Derrickhand is an experienced crew member of the well servicing rig crew responsible for safely performing well servicing operations from the tubing board. Working at an elevated position, the Derrickhand guides tubing, tools and equipment as they are run into and pulled from the well. This position also includes operating and driving rig equipment to and from job sites, supporting the Driller in daily operations, mentoring and assisting crew members, and carrying out all assigned duties in accordance with client requirements, company procedures and safety standards.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist Driller with equipment maintenance specifically related to the circulating systemAssist with pipe guiding while positioned in the derrickParticipate in pre-job safety meetings, hazard assessments and emergency response drillsIdentify and report unsafe conditions, incidents, near misses, and equipment hazards immediatelyAbility to comply with company policies and proceduresSpecific Knowledge,
