The Mine Technologist measures, collects, and compiles operational data as part of the Technical Services team to support the implementation of cutting-edge practices and improve mine performance. This role will be based at the Cote Gold Mine Site (Gogama, ON) on a 7 on 7 off or 14/14 schedule.ResponsibilitiesSupport Technical Services in executing QA/QC protocols for drilling, blasting, geotechnical, and geological operations.Execute field surveys using high-precision GPS and 3D scanning technology to capture accurate mine site data.Compile and analyze operational data to identify trends and support initiatives for improving mine performance.Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.Manage equipment integrity by performing regular maintenance and calibration of all specialized testing and surveying tools.Monitor compliance by documenting and reporting any deviations from established mine quality standards.Facilitate staff development by assisting in the training of personnel on standardized QA/QC procedures and safety protocols.Optimize data management by maintaining organized records and reports to ensure technical accuracy across all departments.Key Skills & KnowledgeFamiliarity with industry-specific quality standards and regulations.Experience using Trimble, drones,
