TheMotorhandis responsible for the maintenance of the equipment specifically related to the engines on rig location. This position is accountable to ensure all equipment is clean and operating properly, assist the Derrickhand and Driller on the drill floor, and ensure completion of log sheets and maintenance records. Will also assist in general housekeeping at rig location.Duties and ResponsibilitiesRegularly maintain drilling rig engines, transmissions, heating systems, generators, motors, hydraulic systems and other mechanical equipmentMonitor inventories for fuel, oil filters, lube oils, greases and other service itemsMaintain equipment logs and preventative maintenance records as requiredParticipate in pre-job safety meetings, hazard assessments and emergency response drillsIdentify and report unsafe conditions, incidents, near misses, and equipment hazards immediately.Maintain good housekeeping standards throughout the rig siteWork as part of team,
