Summary of Duties:To provide a full range of social work services to adults, adolescents and their families in the Ambulatory Outpatient Mental Health Division, including those who present in emerge. Services include comprehensive assessments of individuals in crisis, family functioning, time limited and goal oriented family counselling (psycho-education regarding mental illness, assistance with parenting and limit setting, mediation assistance with resolving conflict); and facilitaes referrals to community resources. The position requires ongoing consultation and collaboration with colleagues to coordinate optimal services for clients within an inter -disciplinary approach; co-facilitate psycho-educational groups; crisis assessments/triage for patients referred through Emergency Department; assessment and programming for clients from the emergency,
