Morguard is seeking a dedicated Superintendent to perform essential maintenance and management tasks. This role involves ensuring property quality and responding to emergencies in office.
As a Superintendent at Morguard, you will report directly to the Building Manager, ensuring minor repairs and routine maintenance meet established standards. You'll be responsible for responding to emergencies, supervising cleaning activities, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols while promoting tenant satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine and preventative building maintenance
• Respond to all emergency situations swiftly
• Oversee cleaning of suites and common areas
• Maintain life, safety, and emergency systems
• Assist with leasing functions and administrative duties
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in property maintenance
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Knowledge of Residential Tenancies Act is preferred
