About the OpportunityReporting to the Rehabilitation Services Manager, the Physiotherapist assesses, diagnoses and treats patients in a tertiary care setting. The role includes obtaining a detailed medical history, performing standardized tests, and developing holistic treatment programs using exercises, education and manual, mechanical, electrical and hydrotherapy techniques to assist patients in regaining optimal function.The Physiotherapist communicates with other health disciplines, the general public, family members and caregivers about health promotion, treatment and patient management. This position includes supervision of physiotherapy students and assistants and aids, and collaboration with the clinical team to set goals, evaluate effectiveness and solve problems.About YouBachelor's degree or entry‑level Master’s program in Physiotherapy from an accredited universityMembership with the Nova Scotia Regulator of PhysiotherapyComputer skills (statistics input, word processing,
