In this role, reporting to the Manager of Communications and Stakeholder Engagement, you will utilize your expertise in communications to support various organizational initiatives and external communications strategies. You will develop comprehensive communications plans, draft key messaging, and ensure consistent communication across all platforms while engaging with diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategic communications plans • Draft key messaging for complex organizational issues • Coordinate timely media inquiries and responses • Build relationships with media representatives • Monitor media coverage and public sentiment
Requirements: • Post-secondary education in Communications or related field • 6+ years’ experience in high-pressure communications roles • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital design tools • Experience crafting narratives for diverse audiences • Solid organizational and communications skills
