The Service Technician's responsibilities include traveling to customers' locations, remotely accessing equipment, and performing routine maintenance.Responsibilities and Duties:Field Service:Take instruction from Project Manager and/or Dispatch to ensure tasks are completed in a safe mannerTransport Ketek equipment in a safe manner, ensuring all Journey Management requirements are followedComply with all provincial transportation requirementsInstall, troubleshoot, and demobilize Ketek equipment for the benefit of the client and providing instructions on the proper usage of the itemPerform routine maintenance on Ketek equipmentUse, clean, and maintain the different tools required at the worksitePerform routine onsite housekeeping dutiesEstablish and promote excellent Client relationships through clear and accurate communicationShop Operations:Receive, understand and execute instructions from Shop Foreman and senior employeesClean equipment and toolsDisassemble equipment, if needed,



to thoroughly cleanIdentify faulty/damaged equipment and/or defective materials and inform supervisor of problemDetermine the correct type of tools/equipment to be used for a specific taskUtilize checklists, inspections, work procedures and safety guidelines to complete tasksComplete assigned tasks in a safe, efficient and timely mannerPerform routine housekeeping duties in the shopOther Duties:Complete all required paperwork on a daily basis, including hazard assessment and Daily Job Control SheetCooperate with Training department for scheduling of new/recertification trainingObserve all safety procedures and use proper Personal Protective EquipmentEnsure all Ketek's work procedures, policies and Occupational Health and Safety regulations are followedRepresent Ketek in a light that is commensurate with the values of Management and the Corporate Vision and Mission StatementsDuties, responsibilities and activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.Working Conditions:Physical Demands:Regularly required to stand/sit, talk/hear, stoop, climb, lift, balance, kneel and use of hands/fingers to operate tools, machinery and materialsModerate to heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) may be requiredUse of mechanical aids: overhead crane,
