As part of Loblaw's elite Asset Protection team, you will engage in crime prevention, risk assessment, and collaboration with law enforcement. Your responsibilities will include conducting investigations and implementing strategies to reduce shrink while ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations. You will work 40 hours a week, with shifts potentially starting at 8 am and ending as late as midnight.
Key Responsibilities:
• Actively prevent theft and policy violations in-store
• Safely detain offenders according to procedures
• Conduct internal and external investigations
• Collaborate with management to reduce loss trends
• Ensure compliance with all security standards
Requirements:
• Valid Provincial Security Guard License required
• Knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada
• Experience with surveillance tools and Microsoft Office
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
• Previous retail experience in grocery or pharmacy preferred
