Seasonal Water Truck DriverWe are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Seasonal Water Truck Driver to support dust suppression and site cleaning operations at facilities, materials sites, and construction sites. The successful candidate will operate a water truck to control dust, clean site surfaces, and assist with general site maintenance.Vacancy Type: ReplacementLocation: Ottawa, ONDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Operate a water truck for dust suppression, flushing, road wetting, and general site cleaningSafely fill and refill the water truck from approved water sourcesOperate a manual transmission vehicle would be a benefit.Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required documentationMaintain safe driving practices in active work zones and around pedestrians and equipmentCommunicate effectively with supervisors, truck foreman, dispatch and site staffMonitor water usage and manage time efficiently to meet daily operational needsReport mechanical issues, safety concerns, or operational delays promptlyREQUIREMENTS:Valid Ontario DZ Driver's Licence (required), AZ Driver's Licence an assetExperience operating manual transmission trucksDemonstrated ability to safely operate and fill a water truckKnowledge of city roads and routes is requiredStrong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasksPrevious experience in dust suppression, construction, landfill,



or materials site operations is an assetStrong commitment to safety and compliance with regulationsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysically able to perform duties associated with the roleWORKING CONDITIONS:Outdoor work in varying weather conditionsOperation in active construction, facilities, and materials site environmentsSeasonal / full time employment.COMPENSATION INFORMATION:The expected compensation range for this position is $32.00 - $34.00 per hour.
