Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Service Technician to join their modern workshop in Kimberley . You will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks on various vehicle makes and models. This role requires strong diagnostic abilities, a commitment to quality workmanship, and excellent problem-solving skills. You will work as part of a supportive team, contributing to the high standards of service offered by the dealership in the Northern Cape .
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Perform engine, transmission, suspension, and exhaust system repairs.
- Replace and repair worn or damaged parts efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure all tools are properly maintained.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of various vehicle systems and components.
- Relevant trade qualification or certification (e.g., NQF Level 3/4).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
