Gain hands-on experience this summer with Paterson Grain in Arborg, Manitoba. This role offers exposure to operations, marketing, and administration within the agricultural industry.
Paterson Grain is seeking motivated summer students to support daily operations. Reporting to the Location Manager, you will assist in facility operations, customer service, and inventory management. As you shadow various staff members, you will ensure quality handling and delivery of Paterson Grain products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with operations including truck unloading and grain cleaning
• Organize the chem shed weekly for inventory visibility
• Maintain accurate inventory data in AGRE system
• Support customer service and processing grain purchases
• Conduct field scouting activities and organize summer events
Requirements:
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Ag Business or related field
• Solid organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Farming background is a plus
