As part of the Capital Projects Group at Metrolinx, you will lead the systems safety assurance for rapid transit initiatives. This role combines management expertise with technical knowledge, ensuring that all LRT infrastructure meets safety and regulatory standards. Engage collaboratively with designers, contractors, and regulators to deliver integrated, reliable transit solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage project progress and analyze work for efficiencies
• Monitor safety, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance
• Oversee consultant and contractor work scopes
• Manage project scope, changes, and budget impacts
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure successful infrastructure transition
Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience in Systems Engineering and LRT projects
• Knowledge of Contract Law and Occupational Health and Safety
• Robust negotiation and communication skills
• Leadership ability to manage a technical team
